Courage and self-empowerment
are the strengths of a woman
The WIN – What Women Need project aims to address social isolation and gender-based violence exacerbated by the pandemic, focusing on the fusion of sport and social inclusion. Targeting women who’ve borne the brunt of family management, leading to isolation, anxiety, and increased violent behavior, the project seeks to counteract these issues by enhancing female empowerment and social networks, combating domestic violence, promoting self-care and economic opportunities through sports, and reducing sedentary lifestyles. With four partners across Italy, Croatia, and Spain, and supported by various entities, the project’s goals include improving gender equality and European cohesion at the local level, sharing knowledge internationally, and ensuring long-term replicability for broader well-being.
We are excited to announce the upcoming WIN CAMP, a key event of the “What Women Need” project, dedicated to empowering women through sport, inclusion, and community.
